Embracer Group acquires Eidos Frequently Asked Questions.Just adding more data from my experiences in the hope it helps. ![]() Quicksaving did seem to destabilize the game when I did use it, though (framerate drops, stutters, etc.) so that may be the root cause culprit for some crashing. I had one CTD during the Missing Link content, but that was it. It's probably also worth noting that I didn't really see crashing during my last playthrough. I saved maybe two or three times in the level, and I tend to overwrite saves rather than creating new ones, so I finished the game with about 10 discrete saves. That said, I don't generally use Quicksave and did save at the start of the level. I also tend to stock up on knockout gas grenades going into the map, so I usually toss them around pretty freely, so I definitely haven't seen #4, either. Going through Panchaea, I knock out pretty much every aug zombie on the map, including the group on the bridge. If you face this same problem in the end game, I hope these steps help you finish the job, like they helped me.Īcknowledging that system differences account for a LOT, my playthroughs (including the most recent) scratch off numbers 2 and 3. Didn't use gas grenades after saving TaggartĬould finish the game without any further crashing problems. Didn't touch any "zombie" on the last bridge to the final elevator. I ran to save Sarif and his crew and rushed to the end without saving the game and tried to avoid knocking out any enemies unless I was forced to get them off of me. ![]() Made last big save right after saving Taggart and his people. I saved the game in the beginning of the level I could be wrong, but these are only triggers I could come up with. After many times trying and replaying the end, I came up with few theories what might cause this:ģ) Last "zombie" group on the bridge to the last elevator being knocked out (because only after that the game started crashing on me, whether I ran to the elevator or went back to the level.Įxtra 4) Some people have speculated that using many gas grenades might be one trigger too. ![]() Like some other people, I also had a problem of game crashing in the end of the last level. This is more of an head up for a problem that might occur in the end game. ![]()
